When a connection fails, the error message tells you the layer that broke. Match the error pattern below to the cause.
Dashboard loading slowly
A dashboard that takes more than ~3 seconds to render is almost always one of three problems. In order of frequency:
Flow stuck running
A flow that's been "Running" for hours when it normally finishes in minutes. Diagnose in this order — the first three checks resolve 90% of cases.
Permission denied after LDAP sync
Common report: "I added Carol to the AD group analytics-editors, the LDAP sync ran, but Carol still gets 403 Forbidden on the dashboards she should be able to edit."
